COMPLETION OF THE TRAINER’S EDGE COURSE IS REQUIRED for all Wood Badge and NYLT staff members.
Trainers EDGE is also required for all University of Scouting
Masters and PhD Degree candidates.

EDGE – Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, Enable
The purpose of the Trainer’s EDGE course is to help develop the platform of skills of a trainer.
The training sessions not only demonstrate good training methods, but also give you a hands-on opportunity to interact with participants and practice what you have learned.
Participants need to come prepared to make a 10 minute presentation on any scout skill or scouting topic of your choice.
