 WILL YOU BE SERVING ON THE STAFF FOR THE SPRING 2011 WOOD BADGE COURSE OR THE SUMMER 2011 NYLT TRAINING?

 Your next opportunity to attend the Trainers EDGE class is  January 29, 2011

 This class will fill up VERY QUICKLY!! Please don’t wait too long to register!

 All participants must pre-register – NO at the door registration

 COURSE LIMITED TO THE FIRST 48 REGISTRANTS!

 On-line registration will be available soon or you can complete the attached form and mail or fax it to the council.

 IF YOU SERVE ON THE STAFF FOR ANY OF THE BELOW – YOU NEED TO ATTEND!

 COMPLETION OF THE TRAINER’S EDGE COURSE IS REQUIRED for all Wood Badge and NYLT staff members.

 Trainers EDGE is also required for all University of Scouting Masters and PhD Degree candidates.

 Space is limited so register today to be guaranteed a seat!

 EDGE – Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, Enable

 The purpose of the Trainer’s EDGE course is to help develop the platform of skills of a trainer.

The training sessions not only demonstrate good training methods, but also give you a hands-on opportunity to interact with participants and practice what you have learned.

 Participants need to come prepared to make a 10 minute presentation on any y scout skill or scouting topic of your choice.
